How-to-Calendar

  • Make sure any pop-up blockers are turned off on your browser. Firewalls and anti-virus seem to be ok.
  • Click on link to Interactive Scheduling Calendar, this will take you to the schedule for the current week.
  • Click on the studio room you want to reserve, and a pop-up box comes up in which you need to put your full name, tel#, e-mail, notes, user name and password. Your user name is your first name with the first letter in Caps, and all other letters lower case. Your password is your own.
  • If you check the box “remember my reservation info” your info will come up on that computer EVERY time you go to make a reservation.
  • CAUTION – If you do not want other people to be able to use your info, and you are reserving on a public computer, then uncheck the “remember my reservation info” box on your very last reservation you make, and this will erase your info from that computer.
  • Then click OK and follow the prompts.
  • If you are a student you cannot alter the calendar, but you can browse it well into the future to see who is teaching what.

TIPS

  • What you type in the notes will appear on the schedule for all to see. Please type in your name and the type of class you are teaching at that time period.
  • You MUST put in your e-mail in order to receive an e-mail confirmation of scheduling.
  • You can  schedule a studio for multiple hours or multiple days, or weekly events.
  • You can only delete or modify a scheduled class up to 3 hours before hand, and then it cannot be changed except by the manager.
  • You can schedule a class or rehearsal as close as 30 minutes in advance. So if you are planning to make the drive out to the BCC for a last-minute class or rehearsal make sure to reserve your time.
  • The ability for the calendar to hold on to your info depends on “cookies” so in your browser settings you must enable cookies. In Internet explorer 6.0 you can select which web sites you want to enable cookies on. Go to the menu and select Tools > scroll down to Internet Options > click on the Privacy Tab > then under Web Sites click the Edit button then in the Address of Web Site window type www.bouldercircuscenter.com then click on the Allow button then click on the OK buttons until you are out of there. There are ways to do this type of thing in earlier versions of internet explorer, but 6.0 is a free download. If you are a Mac user there are also ways to do this in Internet Explorer. Consult your local Mac head.
  • Sometimes when you hit the  Refresh button on your browser after making a reservation, an error message will come up asking you to Retry. Do so and then your reservation will show up.
